At DoTank, I was brought on as a freelance designer and illustrator for a project which involved the creation of conceptual imagery to be used as a part of a pitch deck for a MARS Pet conference discussing the future of the company and goals.
In the end, a total of 5 images were created, each piece representing a forward thinking perspective for the 5 main points of the company.

Final Illustrations
These 5 illustrations were conceptualized between Lauren Cox and I. Before I came on the project, Lauren Cox had already defined the general visual style. So my work was in background research, adhering to that style, and fully conceptualizing each of these 5 images.
So, I was challenged with the question, "How can we reimagine the supply chain as a more sustainable, connected, and technologically enhanced process?"
As an answer, these images were made to showcase how various aspects of the supply chain can be enhanced, and brought to a higher level of connection, technology, and sustainability standards.
The red illustration is a representation of Enterprise Planning, the purple is for Smart Factories, the teal is for Smart Logistics, and yellow is for Connected Suppliers, and the indigo is for Connected Consumers

Sketching
A Glimpse of the Process
Every image was first sketched in either Procreate or on paper. Then they were refined in Photoshop using custom brushes (made by Lauren Cox). The finishing details of the various screens and ads in each image were designed in Illustrator, exported into Photoshop, and then drawn over to integrate them better with the overall style.
For Enterprise Planning, as with most of the categories shown, I started with a question "What was it?"
So, before I sketched away, I looked into various resources and came to a conclusion that it was a part of the supply chain where all major points of company communication come together, in order to plan and synthesize their efforts.
The goal with this was to showcase how a headquarters filled with employees might look as a cohesive unit; working with robotic and AI technology, connected inside and outside the room via online tech and screens, and with the constantly available option to simply get up and collaborate with other teams in the vicinity via an extremely open, bright, office plan.
I then started with multiple concept sketches, before selecting one that I revised to feel less cluttered, and pushed through to the final image shown here.
Sketches Throughout The Project
All of the finished images are drawn with an eye-level view, to be seen from the perspective of a worker in that environment. Many of the original sketches were from different (higher) angles, before we settled for that more personable view.
